How you actually get an egg

Eggs are not bought — they are stolen. You travel to a biome, take an egg from a nest, and carry it back to your own pen before the biome's guardian catches you. A bigger egg slows you down, which is what turns a comfortable Speed margin into a tight one on the return trip.

Other players are the second source. Bases can be raided, so a pet in your pen is not permanently safe, and neither is anyone else's. That is where the game's name comes from.

Which egg is worth your time

Almost always the one from the highest biome you can safely escape. The income gap between biomes dwarfs the gap between rarities within a biome — a mid-tier pet from Cherry Blossom out-earns anything from Snow. That makes Speed progression, not egg selection, the thing that actually determines your income ceiling.

The exception is early on, when Index rewards pay out Speed and cash for each new species you hatch. Until you have filled out the early biomes, variety genuinely beats repetition.

Eggs FAQ

How long does it take to hatch an egg in Steal An Egg?

Roughly 30 seconds for a common Forest egg, a few minutes in the mid biomes, and up to several hours for Secret and Eternal pulls. Size and mutation shift it further. There is no reliable published per-egg table.

Do eggs hatch when the game is closed?

Yes — the server tracks hatch progress in real time, so you can close Roblox and come back to a finished egg.

Where do you get eggs?

You steal them from nests in the biomes and carry them back to your own pen. You can also steal already-hatched pets from other players’ bases.

What is the Brainrot Egg?

A limited rotating egg with published drop rates rather than a fixed pet: Tung Tung Sahur 39%, Bananita Dolphinita 25%, Belula Beluga 20%, Mangolini Parrochini 10%, Bomboclat Crocolat 5%, Strawberry Elephant 1.0%.
