How you actually get an egg

Ordinary biome eggs are stolen. You travel to a biome, take an egg from a nest, and carry it back to your own pen before the biome's guardian catches you. A bigger egg slows you down, which is what turns a comfortable Speed margin into a tight one on the return trip.

Nests refill on the egg reset: every five minutes the map goes dark for a few seconds and the ordinary eggs come back. The rare tiers work differently. A Secret, Eternal or Divine egg never sits waiting — a single one spawns at a reset, and the moment it does the whole server is told its name and biome. Not every reset brings one and nobody publishes the odds, so getting one is a race between the players already standing in the right biome. The egg spawn timer tells you when the next reset is due.

Other players are the second source. Bases can be raided, so a pet in your pen is not permanently safe, and neither is anyone else's. That is where the game's name comes from.

Which egg is worth your time

Almost always the one from the highest biome you can safely escape. The income gap between biomes dwarfs the gap between rarities within a biome — a mid-tier pet from Cherry Blossom out-earns anything from Snow. That makes Speed progression, not egg selection, the thing that actually determines your income ceiling.

The exception is early on, when Index rewards pay out Speed and cash for each new species you hatch. Until you have filled out the early biomes, variety genuinely beats repetition.

How long does it take to hatch an egg in Steal An Egg?

About 30 seconds for a Forest egg, a few minutes for anything below Secret, and several hours, up to about 12 hours for Secret, Eternal and Divine pulls. Huge and mutated endgame eggs can run 12 to 36 hours, sometimes longer. There is still no reliable per-egg table.

How do Secret, Eternal and Divine eggs spawn?

Never in an ordinary nest. A single rare egg can spawn at an egg reset, every five minutes, and the whole server is told its name and biome the moment it does. Not every reset brings one and no source publishes the odds, so it is a race between the players already standing in the right biome.

Do eggs hatch when the game is closed?

Yes — the server tracks hatch progress in real time, so you can close Roblox and come back to a finished egg.

What are the Experiment Shop eggs?

Nibbles #013 and Experiment #001 were recorded as Samples purchases in the 19 September update. The table preserves those dated prices and limits, not a claim that the same eggs remain on sale. The 26 September event-listing end did not prove the whole shop closed: a 29 September walkthrough still shows Samples purchases. Check the current menu before farming for either egg.

How does Dr. Scramble’s Lab work?

The 26 September update replaced the lobby Rift trade-in machine with a Lab that takes the requested unhatched eggs. Read its current banner and recipe, keep the requested eggs unhatched, then submit them. Biohazard Pets, Experimental Pets and Unstable DNA are reported pools. Recipes and pity figures vary across reports, so use the current Lab display.
