How to get Lava Iguana
Lava Iguana hatches from eggs stolen in the Volcano biome. That biome needs 700K Speed to enter, and the Hellhound patrols it.
The listed entry figure does not establish a safe carrying speed. Check the entrance and your return route; we have not measured a universal safety margin. Plan a target using your actual training rate →
Its egg sits in the ordinary Volcano nests, which refill at every egg reset — get it home before the Hellhound catches you. How egg spawns work → The published rarity-wide hatch band is a few minutes; it is not an individually timed Lava Iguana result. Use the duration shown on your egg. Track it →

Listed references support this record. This is desk research, not a fresh in-game test; exceptions are noted below.
Where it sits
Lava Iguana ranks #44 of 80 numerical entries in our current dataset. Provisional figures are included; pets with unknown income are excluded. This is not a complete game-wide ranking. The next pet up is Shark at $15K/s. Directly below it is Flaming Bull at $9.5K/s.
Compare your actual size and variant
Use Lava Iguana's displayed earnings for a real budget. The income calculatorcompares your line-up; the size guide explains why an assumed size factor cannot prove a pet's actual income.
Saving-time projections for Lava Iguana
Time = savings target ÷ reported base income. This assumes one unmutated Lava Iguana, constant earnings and no spending or interruption:
| To bank | Takes | Calculation scope |
|---|---|---|
| $1M | 1 minute | Constant-rate projection |
| $1B | 1 day 1 hour | Constant-rate projection |
| $1T | 2 years 10 months | Constant-rate projection |
These projections do not validate offline limits, collection caps or server bonuses. To combine pets you already own, run your own line-up.
