Three written guides now agree: eggs reset every 5 minutes, and the reset is a short "night" of roughly 10–13 seconds while nests repopulate. A long recorded playthrough shows night falling on that rhythm. One careful wiki still lists the reset as unverified because it has not timed it in-game, and nobody has shown whether every server shares a single clock — so the timer below still anchors to a reset you actually watch.
Why this timer works differently to the others
Every five minutes the map goes dark for a few seconds and the nests across every biome repopulate. Ordinary eggs simply reappear in their nests; the rare ones — Secret, Eternal and Divine — spawn singly at a reset and are announced to the whole server by name and biome. It is the highest-frequency clock in the game, which is why players plan runs around it.
Which egg is worth the run once nests are back depends on where you can reach: theegg predictor filters them by your Speed. Until 5 September some respawns also came back infested, which theHungry Monster event guide records — that event has since ended.
Using it well
- Anchor on a reset you actually witness, not on one you assume happened.
- Check the interval after a few cycles. If the countdown drifts against what you see, adjust it — that drift is data.
- Do not be mid-run at the closure. Being locked out with an egg in hand is the expensive failure mode.
- Re-anchor when you change server. If the cycle is tied to server uptime rather than wall-clock time, a new server means a new offset.
- Rare eggs come at a reset, not between them. A Secret, Eternal or Divine spawn is announced to the whole server the instant it appears — be in the right biome before the countdown hits zero, not after the alert.
What would still help
The cycle length is settled; the server alignment is not. If you have watched resets on two servers at the same moment and seen whether they fire together, that is the one observation that would close it — send it in and it will be credited to you.

Why does this timer not just show a countdown straight away?
This tool has no live connection to your Roblox server. Starting from an observed reset gives an estimate for that server, assuming the recorded cycle stays constant. Re-sync after a server change or when the next reset differs.
