Yeti: the Snow pet and the Snow guardian share a name
There are two different references to Yeti in a Snow run. The guardian named Yeti patrols the biome; the Secret Yeti pet is the collection result in the index. Evading the guardian is part of returning with an egg. Its name alone is not evidence that a guardian encounter awards the pet. Snow guardian list →
The Secret pet's listed $5M/s is 12.5× King Mammoth's $400K/s. The next rare tier in the same Snow roster, Ice Dragon, is 13× normal Yeti. This is a sizable intermediate step rather than the endpoint of the Snow income ladder. Snow pet roster and incomes →
Golden Yeti models $10M/s and still trails the $65M/s plain Ice Dragon. Both Secret and Eternal use announced rare spawns; without their spawn frequencies, a larger income does not prove Ice Dragon is the faster goal to achieve. Rare-spawn evidence and missing odds →

One earning slot, size held at 1×. Unmutated rows use reported rates; variant rows multiply by the documented mutation factor. These are conditional comparisons, not tested hatch outcomes.

Keep the guardian encounter separate from pet acquisition. For income, Yeti is a reported step up from King Mammoth, while even the modeled Golden variant does not catch normal Ice Dragon.

| Mutation | Multiplier | Income / sec | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | 1× | $5M | — |

| Bloom | 1.5× | $7.5M | +$2.5M |

Only mutations with a retained numerical multiplier are modeled; this is not every mutation available in the game. Size can change the result. The income calculator combines the modeled inputs.
How to get Yeti
Yeti hatches from eggs stolen in the Snow biome. That biome needs 170K Speed to enter, and the Yeti patrols it.
The listed entry figure does not establish a safe carrying speed. Check the entrance and your return route; we have not measured a universal safety margin. Plan a target using your actual training rate →
This egg never waits in a nest. As a Secret it can appear at an egg reset and is announced to the server, according to the linked spawn references. Other players can pursue the same egg. A reset does not guarantee a rare spawn. How egg spawns work → The published rarity-wide hatch band is several hours, up to about 12 hours; it is not an individually timed Yeti result. Use the duration shown on your egg. Track it →

Where it sits
Yeti ranks #19 of 80 numerical entries in our current dataset. Provisional figures are included; pets with unknown income are excluded. This is not a complete game-wide ranking. The next pet up is Snowy Owl at $7.5M/s. Directly below it is King Snake at $3.5M/s.
Compare your actual size and variant
Use Yeti's displayed earnings for a real budget. The income calculatorcompares your line-up; the size guide explains why an assumed size factor cannot prove a pet's actual income.
Saving-time projections for Yeti
Time = savings target ÷ reported base income. This assumes one unmutated Yeti, constant earnings and no spending or interruption:
| To bank | Takes | Calculation scope |
|---|---|---|
| $1B | 3 minutes | Constant-rate projection |
| $1T | 2 days 7 hours | Constant-rate projection |
These projections do not validate offline limits, collection caps or server bonuses. To combine pets you already own, run your own line-up.
Listed Secret pets compared
Rarity is a poor guide to income on its own — the Secret band alone spans $3.5M/s to $145M/s. Here is where Yeti actually sits among them.

Yeti FAQ
How much does Yeti earn in Steal An Egg?
The provisional reported base figure is $5M/s before size and mutation bonuses. Mutation projections multiply this figure by a sourced factor; they are calculated scenarios, not measurements of every variant.
Where do you get Yeti?
By stealing its egg from the Snow biome, which needs 170K Speed to enter and is patrolled by the Yeti. As a Secret it never waits in a nest: a single rare egg can spawn at an egg reset, every 5 minutes, and the whole server is told its name and biome when it does. Be in Snow before the reset.
Is Yeti a good pet?
It ranks #19 among 80 pets with numerical income entries in our dataset, and #8 among 9 ranked Secret entries. Unknown incomes are excluded and provisional figures are included. Collection difficulty, hatch odds and your existing pets also matter.
