The Cosmic biome in Steal An Egg

Biome 09 of 10

Cosmicbiome in Steal An Egg

The endgame biome for most players, and the only place the Unicorn — the first Divine pet, at $1B/s — can be found. The 700M Speed requirement is roughly 40x the Prehistoric gate.

Rarity spread

Getting here from Prehistoric

This is the concrete gap, not a vague “grind more”. Moving from Prehistoric to Cosmic means finding 683M more Speed — a 41× increase on where you are standing.

  1. 1

Bank the best Prehistoric pet you can hold

That is Mosasaurus at $180M/s. This is what funds the step — treadmill upgrades come out of pet income, so the gap closes at the rate your pen earns.

  2. 2

Put every dollar into the treadmill, then a trail

Treadmill upgrades add to your Speed per second; trails multiply it. Because the multiplier also applies to every upgrade you buy afterwards, a trail bought at the start of this step is worth more than the same money spent at the end of it.

  3. 3

Clear 700M, then keep going to 1.8B

The requirement opens the door. The extra margin is what gets you back out carrying something heavy. Stopping at the floor is the single most common way players lose runs.

  4. !

Use the Saturday event for this one

A 41× jump is a wall, not a step. During Admin Abuse the developers stack Speed multipliers game-wide, and players routinely use that window to make a run they could not otherwise survive. One successful trip funds everything afterwards.

  5. What you are actually here for

Unicorn at $1B/s, which is 6× what the best Prehistoric pet earns. That multiple is why the grind is worth it, and why players who stall in one biome stay stalled.

Put your current Speed and treadmill rate in the planner → to turn this into an actual number of hours.

The Dragon

The Dragon guards the only biome containing a Divine pet. At this stage the Speed requirement is so high that anyone who can enter legitimately can usually escape — the players who die here are the ones who got in during an Admin Abuse boost that has since expired.

Guardian behaviour is a player observation rather than a published figure, so this is written as commentary, not data. It carries no sourcing badge because there is no source to cite — if your experience differs, tell us.

How big a jump is this?

Cosmic asks for roughly 41× the Speed that Prehistoric does — 17M up to 700M. That is one of the walls in this game rather than a step, and it is where most players stall. The Saturday Admin Abuse event, where developers stack Speed multipliers game-wide, is the practical way through it for most people.
