How this site works

Why we built it this way

Steal An Egg launched in July 2026 and grew to hundreds of millions of visits within a month. A dozen reference sites appeared almost immediately, and most of them share the same problem: the numbers have no provenance. When one site gets a Speed threshold or a pet income figure wrong, the others copy it, and there is no mechanism for the error to ever get corrected.

The game also updates every Saturday, which means any figure can go stale in a week. A site that does not tell you when it last checked something is not giving you enough information to trust it.

What we actually do

Every figure carries a source

Each record in our database has a list of source URLs and a check date attached, and the build fails if a record is missing them. That is enforced in code, not by discipline — an unsourced number literally cannot be published.

Three levels of confidence, shown on the page

• Verified in-game — we confirmed it by playing.
• Sourced — multiple independent sources agree.
• Unconfirmed — one source only, or sources disagree. Shown with a caveat.

Right now most pet income figures sit at Unconfirmed, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. Of 86 pets, 12 have income values we checked against a second independent source — chosen to span every rarity tier from Common to Divine. All 12 matched exactly, which is good evidence the underlying index is accurate, but it is evidence about the index rather than proof of each individual number.

We publish gaps as gaps

6 pets have no published income figure anywhere we could find. They show as “—” rather than being given an estimate. Per-egg hatch durations are the same story: several sites list them to the second, none of those numbers trace to anyone who timed them, and they contradict each other — so we do not republish them, and the hatch timer asks you for the duration instead.

Corrections

If a number here does not match what you see in-game, we want to know. Send it to hello@stealaneggtime.com with what you observed and we will update the record with your observation credited as a source. Contradicting us with a screenshot is the fastest way to improve this site.

What this site covers

All 10 biomes and their Speed gates, 86 pets with income and rarity, five mutations, the Speed economy, both recurring events, and five tools that do the arithmetic those things imply. It does not cover exploits, scripts or anything requiring account access.

Independence

Steal An Egg Time is an independent fan resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation or the developers of Steal An Egg. The site is supported by advertising, which has no influence on what we publish — including our codes page, which truthfully reports that no codes exist rather than inventing a list for the search traffic.

We will never ask for your Roblox password or account details, and no legitimate fan site will.
