Kraken: distinguish an Abyss collection goal from an income upgrade
Kraken's reported $15M/s is 17.65× Beluga Whale's rate in the same biome. That is a large upgrade from the local Cosmic entry, but it does not mean every earlier-biome pet is weaker. Lava Dragon from Volcano is listed at $100M/s. Abyss Ocean and Volcano income rows →
Even a projected Rainbow Kraken yields $37.5M/s, below that plain Lava Dragon. If you already own Lava Dragon, replacing it with Kraken solely because Abyss Ocean comes later would reduce the modeled earnings. If you own Beluga Whale instead, the same Kraken is an upgrade. Documented Rainbow factor →
Abyss Ocean's listed 2.5M Speed entry is a different barrier from Volcano's 700K. Kraken is a Secret target announced at rare spawns; the Moby guardian and carrying route still matter after entry. There are no retained success rates to convert this into a guaranteed farm yield. Abyss Ocean entry and guardian sources →
The right answer depends on the pet being replaced
One earning slot, size held at 1×. Unmutated rows use reported rates; variant rows multiply by the documented mutation factor. These are conditional comparisons, not tested hatch outcomes.

Collect Kraken for the Abyss roster, or use it to replace a weaker actual slot. A later biome and a Secret label are not enough to justify retiring an existing higher earner.
Income with documented mutation multipliers

| Bloom | 1.5× | $22.5M | +$7.5M |

| Rainbow | 2.5× | $37.5M | +$22.5M |

Only mutations with a retained numerical multiplier are modeled; this is not every mutation available in the game. Size can change the result. The income calculator combines the modeled inputs.
How to get Kraken
Kraken hatches from eggs stolen in the Abyss Ocean biome. That biome needs 2.5M Speed to enter, and the Moby patrols it.
The listed entry figure does not establish a safe carrying speed. Check the entrance and your return route; we have not measured a universal safety margin. Plan a target using your actual training rate →
This egg never waits in a nest. As a Secret it can appear at an egg reset and is announced to the server, according to the linked spawn references. Other players can pursue the same egg. A reset does not guarantee a rare spawn. How egg spawns work → The published rarity-wide hatch band is several hours, up to about 12 hours; it is not an individually timed Kraken result. Use the duration shown on your egg. Track it →

Where it sits
Compare your actual size and variant
Use Kraken's displayed earnings for a real budget. The income calculatorcompares your line-up; the size guide explains why an assumed size factor cannot prove a pet's actual income.
Saving-time projections for Kraken
Time = savings target ÷ reported base income. This assumes one unmutated Kraken, constant earnings and no spending or interruption:
| To bank | Takes | Calculation scope |
|---|---|---|
| $1B | 1 minute | Constant-rate projection |
| $1T | 18 hours 31 minutes | Constant-rate projection |
These projections do not validate offline limits, collection caps or server bonuses. To combine pets you already own, run your own line-up.

Kraken FAQ
How much does Kraken earn in Steal An Egg?
The provisional reported base figure is $15M/s before size and mutation bonuses. Mutation projections multiply this figure by a sourced factor; they are calculated scenarios, not measurements of every variant.
Where do you get Kraken?
By stealing its egg from the Abyss Ocean biome, which needs 2.5M Speed to enter and is patrolled by the Moby. As a Secret it never waits in a nest: a single rare egg can spawn at an egg reset, every 5 minutes, and the whole server is told its name and biome when it does. Be in Abyss Ocean before the reset.
Is Kraken a good pet?
It ranks #15 among 80 pets with numerical income entries in our dataset, and #6 among 9 ranked Secret entries. Unknown incomes are excluded and provisional figures are included. Collection difficulty, hatch odds and your existing pets also matter.
