The bands

Every pet hatches at one of 4 sizes, and the size applies a flat multiplier to that pet's income. It is rolled at hatch alongside the species — nothing you do afterwards changes it.

The size multipliers are our own approximations. The game confirms that larger pets earn more but does not publish the curve, so treat the numbers as a comparison aid rather than exact figures — unlike the mutation multipliers, which are sourced.

The same multiplier, wildly different money

This is the part that decides what to do with your time. Going from Normal to Huge is always 2× — but 2× of what:

A Huge Chicken is worth $1 more per second than a normal one. A Huge Kitsune is worth $1.8B more per second. Same roll, same multiplier, 1,800,000,000× apart in what it pays.

How to get huge pets

There is no mechanism that resizes a pet you already own — no upgrade, no machine, no item. Size is decided at hatch, which means the only lever is hatching more eggs.

That reframes the question. "How do I get a huge pet" is really "how do I open more eggs in the same amount of time", and the answers to that are about routing and timing rather than about size:

• Be standing in the right biome when nests refill — the egg spawn timer counts to the next reset
• Keep a free hatch slot, since an egg in your hands earns nothing and blocks the next one
• Hatch times run while you are offline, so start something before you stop playing — the hatch timer tracks several at once
• Open eggs where the roster is worth opening, which is not always the newest biome — egg value compares them

Size and mutations stack

The two multipliers are independent and multiply together. At the top end that compounds hard: a Huge Spirit Bloom Kitsune reaches about $10.8B/s, which is 6× the base figure.

The same logic as before applies, doubled. A mutation is proportional and so is size, so both are worth spending on the pets that already earn the most. Run your own combination through the income calculator rather than reading it off a table.
