Steal An Egg Time

Almost every Steal An Egg time question comes down to a clock — a 3-minute Bloom window, a Saturday developer event, hatch timers that run while you are offline, and a Speed grind measured in hours. This site tracks all of it live, and shows you where every number came from.

Sources agree the event repeats every 30 minutes on server time and lasts about 3 minutes. We have not yet confirmed in-game that the cycle aligns to :00 and :30 on the wall clock. Treat the countdown as an estimate and use the in-game timer on the Sakura Incubator as the authority — the re-sync control on our timer exists precisely for this.

Reported as 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM BST on Saturdays. Because it is developer-run rather than scripted, the exact start slips week to week. Join 15–20 minutes early: servers cap at 7 players.

Every Steal An Egg time question, answered

One phrase, a dozen different questions behind it. Here is a short answer to each, with a link to the tool or page that does the actual work.

What time does the Great Bloom start?

Every 30 minutes on server time, and it stays open for only 3 minutes. The live countdown above is set to that cycle.

Live countdown →

What time is Admin Abuse?

Saturdays at 8:00 AM Pacific — 11:00 AM Eastern, 3:00 PM in the UK. It runs 30 to 60 minutes and leads straight into the weekly update.

Countdown & timezones →

What is the Steal An Egg hatch time?

From about 30 seconds for a common Forest egg up to several hours for Secret and Eternal pulls. Timers keep running while you are offline, so you can close the game.

Track your eggs →

How long does it take to reach Cosmic?

Cosmic needs 700M Speed and Cherry Blossom needs 2.5B. The real answer depends entirely on your treadmill rate — the planner works it out from your own numbers.

Work out your time →

What time do Steal An Egg updates drop?

Weekly, on Saturdays, immediately after the Admin Abuse event. The Cherry Blossom biome arrived in the 22 August 2026 update.

Update log →

How long is a typical Steal An Egg session?

About 15.95 minutes, across 493 million recorded visits. Short sessions are why knowing the event windows matters so much.

These are entry floors, not safe speeds. Guardians chase you, and carrying a large egg slows you down — aim for roughly 2–3× before attempting a run.Work out how long that takes →

Why every Steal An Egg time here carries a date

Most Steal An Egg wikis copy figures from each other without saying where anything came from, so a single wrong number spreads and never gets corrected. Every value here — event cycles, hatch windows, grind estimates, income tables — is treated the same way: Every value on it carries its source and the date we last checked it, and anything we could only find in one place is labelled unconfirmed rather than presented as fact. Where we genuinely do not know something — exact per-egg hatch durations, for instance — we say so instead of inventing a number.
