The loop that actually works

The recorded systems connect in this progression loop:

1. Pets in your base generate income.
2. Income buys treadmill upgrades, which raise Speed per second.
3. Speed unlocks the next biome.
4. Another biome gives access to a different roster; a pet that improves an occupied slot can raise income.

Choose purchases around your current goal. A collection objective, an earning-slot upgrade and a new biome can require different choices. Meeting an entry figure alone does not establish that you can complete the return route.

Treadmill adds, trails multiply

Compare the increase in effective Speed per second, then divide it by the purchase price. If an unboosted treadmill rate is 1,000/s and your current trail is 1.2×, moving to 1.5× adds 300/s. A treadmill upgrade adding 200/s before that current 1.2× trail adds 240/s. At equal prices the trail has the larger immediate increase; at twice the price it has the smaller increase per dollar. These are hypothetical inputs, assuming the reported multiplier model applies.

What the free Speed is actually worth

The free rewards panel hands out 10,000 Speed for a like, a favourite and a group join. If available and unclaimed, it exceeds the listed 900 Speed figure for Lake. Here is where that number sits on the curve you are actually climbing:
