You steal an egg from a nest in a biome and carry it back to your pen before the biome's guardian catches you. The egg hatches into a pet. The pet generates cash per second, forever, with no further input. You spend that cash on treadmill upgrades, which raise how much Speedyou gain per second. Speed unlocks better biomes, which hold better pets, which generate more cash. That is the entire game, and everything else is detail.

Step 2: unlock the treadmill

Upgrade your garden for $1,000. The treadmill spawns directly in front of your base and is the only unlimited, free source of Speed in the game. Standing on it generates Speed continuously, and every upgrade raises the per-second rate.

From this point, the discipline that separates fast players from stuck ones is simple:every dollar goes into the treadmill until you have a comfortable margin over your next biome gate. Not cosmetics, not extra low-tier pets. The treadmill.

Step 3: farm Forest properly

Forest has no Speed requirement and the Chicken guardian is slow enough that you can outrun it while carrying. It holds 8 pets, from Chicken at $1/s up to $1.8K/s.

The non-obvious part: hatch variety, not volume. Every species you own for the first time pays an Index reward in Speed and cash, and rarer first-timers pay more. Early on, a new species is worth more than another copy of one you have.

Step 4: understand the margin rule

Every biome lists a minimum Speed. That number is the entry floor — it says nothing about whether you can get back out. Guardians actively chase you, and a larger egg slows you down on the return trip, which is exactly when being caught costs the most.

The working rule that experienced players use is two to three times the stated requirement before attempting a real run. Entering a biome at exactly its minimum is how new players lose runs and conclude the game is unfair.

The four mistakes that cost the most time

1. Missing the free 10,000 Speed. It is hidden in a panel most people close on their first login.
2. Hoarding cash. Money does nothing sitting still. Speed compounds.
3. Filling the pen with low-tier pets. The gap between a Common and a Divine pet is over a billion times. Pen space belongs to rarity, not volume.
4. Running a biome at its minimum Speed. See above. This is the big one.

Where to go next

Once Desert is comfortable, the game becomes about two clocks rather than one grind: the Saturday Admin Abuse event, where developer boosts let you reach biomes far above your stat, and later the Great Bloom, which gates the strongest mutations in the game.
