Steal An Egg Hungry Monster event

A monster appeared beside the Sell Shop on 2026-08-29, and it eats infested eggs. Feed it five and it pays out a Monster Chest. The whole thing is removed on 2026-09-05.

Data on this page last checked . Steal An Egg updates every Saturday — report a change.

How the Hungry Monster works

The monster stands next to the Sell Shop and has a hunger bar. Every infested egg you bring it fills 20% of that bar, so five eggs takes it to 100% and produces a Monster Chest. It then resets immediately — there is no cooldown between rounds, only the time it takes you to find five more eggs.

The egg you feed it is consumed. Infested eggs are ordinary eggs that have been turned, so the one in your hands might be something you would rather hatch. Look at what it is before you hand it over.

Where infested eggs spawn

From Snow onwards. Player footage of the update states it plainly, and no earlier biome has been reported as producing them:

Infested eggs are created during the ordinary egg reset — some random number of the eggs that respawn come back infested. The rate has not been published, and we are not going to invent one. If you are timing your runs around resets, theegg spawn timer anchors to a reset you watch happen rather than assuming a cycle.

What a Monstrous Egg hatches

Six pets, with published drop rates. The Dreadscale at the bottom is why people are buying eggs in bulk rather than grinding five-egg rounds.

There are three reported ways to get a Monstrous Egg: the Monster Chest, the new Titan Temple area, and buying them directly in the shop for Robux. A separate Monstrous mutation is reported at 1.5% — that figure comes from a single source and is marked unconfirmed below.

Titan Temple, and what we do not know yet

The same update added an area called Titan Temple. Player footage puts therecommended Speed at 7 billion — note the wording, which is a recommendation rather than a stated entry requirement, and we have not seen the gate itself confirmed.

Its pet list, their income figures and the actual Speed requirement are all still missing. They are not on our biome table for that reason, and they are not on anyone else's either — the major wikis still list ten biomes. When the numbers are confirmed rather than glimpsed in footage, they go in.

Hungry Monster event FAQ

What is the Hungry Monster event in Steal An Egg?

A limited-time event running 2026-08-29 to 2026-09-05. A monster sits beside the Sell Shop; you bring it infested eggs, and every five you feed earns a Monster Chest.

Where do infested eggs spawn?

Player footage of the update says they appear from Snow onwards — so Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic, Cherry Blossom. Earlier biomes have not been reported as producing them. Each egg reset turns some random number of eggs infested; the rate has not been published.

How many infested eggs does the Hungry Monster need?

Five. Each one fills 20% of its hunger, and at 100% it hands over a Monster Chest — then resets so you can start again immediately.

Do I lose the egg I feed it?

Yes. The egg is consumed, which matters because an infested egg can be one you would rather hatch. Check what it is before you hand it over.

What comes out of a Monstrous Egg?

Six pets: Scorpio at 39%, Froggo at 24%, Crawler at 18%, Crocodon at 11%, Krakenoid at 6.5%, Dreadscale at 0.5%. Dreadscale at half a percent is the one people are opening fifty eggs for.

Is the Monster Egg only from the chest?

No. Three routes are reported: the Monster Chest, the new Titan Temple area, and buying them outright in the shop with Robux.

What happens when the event ends?

Everything tied to it is removed on 2026-09-05 with the following weekly update. Pets already hatched stay; the way to get more does not. The /tools/update-timer countdown tracks that window.
