How to get Speed fast

The order that matters

1. Free rewards — 10,000 Speed. Like, favourite, join the group. One minute, no cost, clears the Lake gate outright.
2. Treadmill — $1,000 garden upgrade. Your only unlimited free source. Nothing else should be bought before this.
3. Treadmill upgrades — all spare cash. Until you have a comfortable margin on your next gate.
4. A trail — as soon as affordable. Because it multiplies, buying it earlier is strictly better than buying it later.
5. Index rewards — hatch variety. Every new species pays Speed and cash. Rarer first-timers pay more.
6. Admin Abuse — every Saturday. Free, repeatable, and the largest single jump available to a free player.

Every source, ranked by what it is worth

Treadmill

The only unlimited free source of Speed. It spawns directly in front of your base and is unlocked by upgrading your garden for $1,000. Standing on it generates Speed continuously, and every upgrade raises the per-second rate. Every dollar your pets earn should go here first.

Free Rewards (like, favourite, group)

Open the free rewards panel and complete the like, favourite and group-join steps for 10,000 Speed total. One-time, takes under a minute, and it skips you straight past the Lake gate at 900 Speed. Do this before anything else.

Trails

Bought from the Trail Shop with in-game cash. A trail applies a Speed multiplier on top of whatever the treadmill gives you, so it compounds. The Divine Trail carries the highest multiplier currently available.

Index Rewards

Hatching a pet species you have never owned unlocks an Index reward paying out Speed and cash. Rarer first-time pets pay more, which makes variety worth chasing rather than farming one egg repeatedly.

Admin Abuse event boosts

During the Saturday Admin Abuse window the developers stack Speed multipliers game-wide. Players routinely use it to sprint to Cosmic, grab an egg and get back to base in seconds — runs that would be impossible at their normal Speed.

Speed packs (Robux)

The in-game shop sells Speed packs for Robux. They are a straight time-skip, not a requirement — every biome in the game is reachable free through the treadmill and trail loop.

Where everyone stalls, and why

Progression is smooth until it very suddenly is not. Prehistoric asks for 17M. Cosmic then asks for 700M — roughly 41 times more. Cherry Blossom asks for another 3.5× on top of that.

No amount of treadmill discipline brute-forces that gap quickly. Two things do:

• The Saturday event. During Admin Abuse the developers stack Speed multipliers game-wide, and players routinely use the window to grab a Cosmic egg they could never reach normally. That single pet then funds everything afterwards.

Can you do it all free?

Yes. Every biome is reachable without spending Robux. The free path is exactly the loop above, and the free sources are these:
